In todays world, the music industry as we know it, has to be one - TopicsExpress

In todays world, the music industry as we know it, has to be one of the hardest industries to be a part of. I ask myself often, what is making it? Ive been very fortunate and very lucky to be able to say that I am a Billboard Top 40, SiriusXM, and Top 25 Singer/Songwriter in the Nashville Area. To me, those are just a few checks on my bucket list if you will. This industry changes quicker than anything Ive ever seen before. I can humbly say at 22, Ive checked off such goals as an artist and can now strive even higher! I love music and the escape it provides people to rid the hectic normal, everyday life for a moment, and encourages them to live in the moment... To see those smiles in the crowd, whether it be one or one hundred thousand, to me, all the same; a good lesson my manager, Rick ONeal and Charlie ONeal (management, guitarist, bassist for myself and the Delta Generators)) has brought me to realize over the years to stay true to your heart, your soul, and dont listen to pop culture, because I dont want to be a part of it. I want a prolonged career, I want to be remembered for centuries. No, I am not making thousands a week but, I can stand on my own two feet. I consider myself very fortunate to be able to wake up in the morning, and do what I love. Honestly, I ignore todays popular media. I strive, and always will strive, to be the Bob Dylan of our era. This link, spells out word for word where, and what I want to be doing in the years ahead. I love the challenge, however, I consider music as it always should be, pure art at heart. Thank you Greg, and I encourage everyone to Live Their Dreams. Thank you for your kind words! Take a look...
