Inbox; Sorry if this post is so long! My son got broncholitus when he was 3 months old. Hes now 7 months and recovered BUT he gets out of breath for no reason, and sometimes his breathing is quite wheezy. I took him to the doctors this morning and in true awkward baby style his breathing was normal and they checked his oxygen levels that were 100%, his throat that was clear, his lungs that were clear, and his temp that was 36.7 so basically hes fine. I felt like a right knob taking him now because i feel like they think Im making it up or over reacting but it scares me when he breathes funny. Sometimes i have to give him his inhaler that he was given whilst he had broncholitus because he acts like hes struggling to breathe but when i take him to the doctors hes fine! I really dont know what to do or what it is. I felt so bad as well cause the doctor told me that the thing they put on his finger to test his breathing cost £10 and once its been used they cant use it again. Everyone on his dads side of the family have got asthma but if i tell the doctors that they say its impossible to diagnose a baby this young with asthma but i KNOW his breathing is bad but i cant prove it to anyone. Please someone tell me Im not imagining things🙈x robyn xxx
