Inception has the meaning of starting, or that it explains a new beginning. When starting something or beginning something in life, it is truly important to think positive, have positive thoughts and positive intentions. When committing to a project or to a certain individual, you have to make sure that you put your heart and soul into it. When relating to the movie inception, a big part of the movie is mostly about dreams. In life, positive dreams are extremely important. It is a special creation of your imagination. Dreams can consist of anything an individual wants. It can consist of amazing memories, and incredible feelings such as; love, perseverance, passion, creation, imagination. Positive dreams can help a person have a new perspective, to help someone look forward to something, and it can help someone open new horizons. The positive inception is built on a foundation of love, creativity, dreams, teamwork, perseverance and positivity. With that being said, it is always important to try and bring out the positive in every situation. On a day-to-day basis, some people forget about the simple things in life. People become so corrupt with a daily routine, people sometimes forget who they are. It is extremely important to always be true to yourself and be true to others. To treat people as what you would want to be treated. It is also important to sometimes take the risk in what you believe in. If you have a good idea, run with it and persevere with it. The great thing about the positive inception is that it has a different meaning for everyone, because in life, every individual is completely unique and different in their own way. Everyone has different dreams, obstacles to overcome and new experiences to begin. That’s what makes the world so exciting! The positive inception is what you make of it; it is your start, your beginning. Those who are lazy, pick up the remains of those who hustle. Follow your dreams, and you will get everything you want!! A little about myself... My name is Ryan Benoit. I am 20 years old and I come from Val Caron Ontario, Canada. When I was born, I was born with cerebral palsy. Currently I am enrolled into my third year at Laurentian University in the sports administration program. Ever since I can remember, Ive always loved sports. As you can imagine, having a disability can put restraints on the physical aspect of sports. Even though I have a disability, it does not mean that I cant be involved in sports. I believe this is why I chose the program of “SPAD”. Like a lot of people my age, I have a lot of interest. As previously mentioned, I love sports. I am fortunate enough to have the opportunity to help with the Laurentian University lacrosse club and the Laurentian University men’s varsity hockey team. These experiences have been incredible. I have made so many great friends and great friendships that will last forever. Furthermore, I love weightlifting and working out. It is kind of like a sport for me, something I can do to the best of my abilities and I think that is why I love it so much. I do struggle at times, and I do fall, but it’s not how many times you fall, it’s how many times you fall and get back up. It helps me build character, self confidence, positive work ethic, and a never quit attitude towards life in general. I consider myself very fortunate to live the life that I live and I feel truly blessed to have family and friends like I do. I feel extremely lucky to be in the academic program that I am in and very thankful for all the opportunities that I have been able to encounter throughout my life. Living with a disability, I always had to learn how to do things differently and adapt to certain situations for it to be in my best interest, for it to be beneficial for myself. It takes me a lot longer than most people to do many things, and throughout the years I have adapted and conquered many obstacles. When living with a disability, have to learn to be patient, optimistic and have a certain drive to succeed. I always try to have a positive attitude on things and always try to take the best out of every situation. I truly believe that having a disability, is more of an ability for myself, it has made me the person I am today and made me develop a positive attitude and never giving up attitude. Even though I have cerebral palsy, it doesnt stop me from doing very much. I am a very positive, self driven, and independent person. I believe I am also very determined. When I put my mind to something, I always try to achieve my goals. I put 110% in everything I do. Academically, I know that I am not the smartest person, but I am an individual who tries very hard. I try to use all the resources available to try to make myself a better person. This brand “the Positive Inception” is one of my goals and one of many dreams. With that being said, I just want to help people and have a positive impact in people’s lives, a positive impact on the world. Every day, is a new day, a new chapter in life. Each and every one of us are granted opportunities, it is what you choose to do with those opportunities that will determine if you will be successful. The world is at our fingertips, you just have to reach out and grab it. “The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.”- Steve Jobs
