Incident out of a movie happened to me about an hour ago. Neighbor of 20 + years pulls into his drive way to find it blocked by another car. Im on my fire escape watching this all happen. He stops in the middle of the street and starts honking incessantly for about 3-4 minutes. Traffic behind him cannot move. Another neighbor flips out, comes downstairs to confront the noise polluter. Doesnt know whos honking. He aggressively approaches the car behind the noise polluter thinking it was her doing the honking. She was an African American woman who was freaked out trying to explain it wasnt her. Dude does not listen and continues his assault putting his hands on the car and trying to open her door. At that point I yell out telling the idiot to calm down and deal with the real culprit. Felt bad about pointing him to someone else, but it was the actual truth. He then turns to the noise polluter and assaults him. Starts elbowing him in the face, I then yell again to get the idiot assaulter to split as this is not acceptable behavior in my neighborhood. Both the noise polluter and the assaulter were white. Sorry to bring this up but its important. The assaulter splits because I threatened to come down and handle him personally. I then tell the noise polluter to not honk his horn like that thus avoiding such problems in the future, at which point he looks up at me and says: Youre a Nigger. I had just saved this idiot from getting his ass destroyed. There were about 10 bystanders (neighbors and passers by) who witnessed it all. Honking, assault, nigger calling. Collected all of their phone numbers. They were happy and willing to give me their information. We all agreed that this is not acceptable behavior in a civilized society and well take action accordingly. What a day I tell ya...
