The fire is burning in a steep remote area and is not easily accessible by fire crews. The fire started at about 10 acres and has now grown to over 16 000 acres. Current Situation: Crews have made excellent progress on a containment line along the western northern and southwestern edge of the fire. Although a containment line is well in place last night’s infrared flight shows some significant heat along the northern edge of the fire from approximately south of Skeleton Creek and east along the river to about one mile west of the Big Hole area.
