Incumbent Osun State Governor, Ogeni Rauf Aregbesola has won the governorship election held in the state on Saturday. He defeated the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate , Senator Iyiola Omisore based on the results declared by returning officers for the elections from the Local Government Areas on Sunday morning.
