Indeed, it is sad to see this iconic landmark making room for progress. I remember the ono food, the nautical scenery overlooking Kewalo Basin full of fishing boats, unloading their tuna to be processed at Hawaiian Tuna Packers, a division of Castle and Cooke (our Aunt Thea worked there in accounting). Being in awe of the waitresses balancing their 4 foot trays above their shoulders as they served you!!
