India For Animals (IFA) is a national conference organized by the Federation of Indian Animal Protection Organizations (FIAPO), in association with DogsTrust and Compassion In World Farming, to bring together all organizations & activists working for animal protection in India. One of its kind, this conference is the premier event of FIAPO and marks the celebration of the animal protection movement. IFA 2014 will take place in Jaipur from 12-14 September, and will bring national and international leaders of animal protection to a single platform, including Padma Shri Norma Alvares, Padma Bhushan D.R. Mehta, Dr.Chinny Krishna, world-renowned Anthony Ace Bourke, Clarissa Baldwin,Philip Lymbery, Les Ward, Christine Townend and many others in resourceful discussions, workshops, panels and small-group breakouts where delegates can share and collaborate on strategies to protect animals. Some of the sessions will include discussions and debates on Fundraising for Animals; Effective Utilization of Social Media; Animal Care, First Aid, Rescue and Handling; and Working with Law Enforcement.
