India as a great nation - isnt it time we should take stand internationally and stop being fence sitters. Ukraine or Russia - atleast for the sake of MH 317. How would we have reacted had there been Indians in that plane? What would have been our reactions then or would we have kept mum not wanting Russia to get upset with us and scuttling defence deals and not going against Ukraine either to keep the US and EU happy? I can understand the current Govt. not to take a stand against Israel as it would upset Uncle Sam but why cant we reach out with Aid for those getting affected in Gaza if we support Palestine?? Isnt it time we redefine our foreign policies and exert ourselves being a value laden society when human values and lives are at stake??
