India is holding Kashmir at gun point, both politically and - TopicsExpress

India is holding Kashmir at gun point, both politically and physically as well. Politically, India is linking elections of local representatives for local development and progress to merger of Kashmir with India. In other words India is saying: I will allow development and local democracy, you give me your freedom. It is not a bargain, it is simple trampling of the rights of people of Kashmir in another form. You can not occupy a territory and claim that territory by holding elections. Physically it has more than 700,000 troops with shoot at will orders against the people opposing India rule. By linking right to life, local democracy, and development of Kashmir to merger with India, India is virtually holding each and every aspect of Kashmir life at force and gun point. I think this is the point to highlight, to educate and to negate Indian evil designs over Kashmir.
