Indian Rupee to Open Firm amid Positive Asian Cues, Dollar Strength against Peers to Limit Gains Indian Rupee ended flat in its previous trading session with the Rupee futures contract closing 0.01% lower at 62.23 levels. The domestic currency is likely to open on a positive note today with the Asian markets trading firm and the SGX Nifty pointing towards a flat start. In international markets, the Rupee opened at 62.14 against the dollar. The market participants are also awaiting the balance of payment and current account data for the month of July-September. In international markets, dollar traded firm at 89 levels against its peers. Among the other major currency pairs, EUR/USD is down 0.01% at 1.2309, GBP/USD is trading flat at 1.5686 levels, USD/JPY added 0.10% to 119.93 while AUD/USD is trading 0.18% lower at 0.8388 levels. The next key indicators to watch would be US consumer confidence and nonfarm payroll data due on Friday.
