Indian diplomat Devyani Khobdagade was humiliated in USA a year back. The then UPA Foreign Minister Salman Khursheed promised not to enter Parliament unless Devyani could be released and he kept his promise by arranging release and return of Devyani to India. The diplomatic retaliation of UPA Government to USA was unprecedented. Devyani Khobdagade is again humiliated and this time in her own country and by her own Government when she has been compelled to go for compulsory waiting on two grounds. Firstly, her children were born in USA and therefore, are eligible to be US citizen and hold US passport. Most of us knew that her children are US citizen and it is unacceptable that the Govt. of India didnt know that before !!! Secondly, the charge that she gave an interview to the NDTV regarding her US arrest experience without prior Govt. of India approval. All IPS, IAS, IFS cadres are under same guideline in this respect. Therefore, applying the same ratio, how Ashoke Khemka could give and encouraged to give umpteenth number of interviews every where without Haryana Govt.s approval ?? Devyanis interview reminded the viewers about the horrifying experience she faced in US. THE PRESENT HUMILIATION OF DEVYANI HAS A DIRECT LINK TO THE COMING VISIT OF THE US PRESIDENT AS BARACK OBAMA IS DUE TO BE THE GUEST OF HONOUR IN OUR REPUBLIC DAY PARADE ON 26TH JANUARY, 2015. THE GOVT. OF INDIA IS GOING OUT OF THE WAY TO PLEASE OBAMA AND THE US GOVT WHO ARE YET TO FORGET INDIAS UNPRECEDENTED RETALIATION EARLIER BY WITHDRAWING THE SECURITY COVER OF THE US EMBASSY.
