Indians who voted in their general election received an ink mark on their finger. The ink was made in a factory in Mysore in southern India, which produced more than 2 million bottles of ink for the election. Usually the factory employs 60 staff, but in the run-up to the election it hired an extra 150 temporary workers to meet the demand. The BBCs Simon Atkinson visited Mysore Paints and Varnish to find out what the company does when there is not an election on. bbc/news/business-27658226?OCID=fbbbcindia
