Indigo wept bitterly this evening because her brother had created an enclosure of virtual cats in Minecraft, then callously blew them all to smithereens with a bomb. I made her lie down for a bit, as she was clearly overwrought. Some time later I heard them all running about the field and went to investigate. It seems Indigo had organized a Memorial Service for the obliterated cats, and was then planning to drag her brother to the stake as a heretic - for not believing in cats. And if I wrote a story in which that happened, it would be dismissed as ridiculous and unlikely ...
