Indu Pawar lays stress on unity in Congress Srinagar, Sep 5: An important meeting of Mahila Congress Workers was held on Thursday in Srinagar. The meeting was presided by MLA and president Mahila Congress Indu Pawar. Pawar asked workers to maintain unity for strengthening the organization in all the three regions of the state. She said Congress is a secular party and does not pursue politics of bias and regionalism. She said that Congress has already taken lead in various welfare schemes of every person of the society. She said due to efforts of Mahila Congress more and more women are joining the ranks of Congress. She said that Mahila Workers should move panchayat to panchayat and village to village so that poor of the society should not suffer and every soul of the society and state is made aware of the welfare schemes introduced by the congress party. “Untiring efforts of Prof Soz, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi will see the result but our cadre has to follow their path in better spirit for bringing unity and better result for the party,” Indu Pawar said. Meeting was attended by all the District Presidents, Office bearers, Block Presidents including Shamima Raina, Shamima Sopori, Shaheena, Zubaira, Shamima Iqbal, Raheela, Shamima Khan and others.
