Indulging in my Fathers word. Studying 1 Samuel 17, when David kills Goliath with just a slingshot and one stone. If anyone needs a good word on trusting God please STUDY this text. Maybe youre facing an overwhelming trial and in need of Him to provide, or perhaps youre wondering if He will ever fulfill your hearts desire in a certain area. Trusting God means looking beyond what we can see to what God sees and believing that He loves us and Has the power to do ALL things. The secret to Davids success was His ability to trust and obey God! David recalled his past victories when God rescued him from the claws of a lion and a bear so he knew that God would rescue him from Goliath. He was confident that God was with him! We have to recall the victories from our life to remind us of how the Most High came through for us in the past. No one believed David would succeed at killing Goliath, even his own family. They only saw David, an inexperienced shepherd boy, but they didnt see God! Regardless of their discouraging words David knew that God was with him. Please know that with every challenge there will be a spiritual battle, but you have to respond to the challenge with declarations of faith and not fear! Every challenge presents an opportunity for the Father to display His faithfulness and love. Instead of surrendering to thoughts of fear and failure, make a commitment to trust Him... even when you dont know what tomorrow will bring. Yes, you may experience failure, and life may not always turn out as you planned, but God!🙌 He will be glorified and you will be blessed!
