Industrial Business Development Specialist Sector: Engineering & Construction Location: Yanbu, KSA Duties & Responsibilities: Perform the needed research into support industry clusters and monitors and tracks cluster requirements and provides the needed specialist insight towards the development of clusters. Conduct the assessment of opportunities in Yanbu Industrial City for petrochemical industries to promote and build out the petrochemical cluster development programs. Carry out market, technical and economic assessment studies in order to identify petrochemical clusters suitable to Yanbu Industrial City. Analyze petrochemical clusters research data to assess the impact of change on existing clusters and predict potential changes on the basis of findings. Review technological changes and opportunities at Yanbu Industrial City within existing petrochemical clusters, develop plans and initiatives, and report the same accordingly. Conduct research on current petrochemical clusters performance and requirements, analyze findings, and provide the Cluster Support Director with information needed for the development of future plans. Analyze the technological performance of petrochemical clusters from a technical standpoint, identify potential for synergies, and advise the Director of the same. Qualification & Experience: Engineering degree with at least 5 - 8 years’ experience. Preference would be given to Chemical, Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering degree holders. MBA would be a plus. Prefer to have strong Industrial Business Development background. Must be able to develop new business plans with financial data on new opportunities. Must be able to develop feasibility reports and marketing plans for potential investors on new opportunities. Consulting experience would be big plus. Exposure or having worked with Middle Eastern companies will be an added advantage but it is not a requirement. Petroleum or Petrochemical background would be beneficial but it is not a requirement.
