Industrial #energy expenses are a major factor in the cost of #manufacturing. Energy costs go straight to the bottom line for companies and impact their profitability. Our partners in the Better Buildings, Better Plants Challenge are demonstrating their commitment to energy savings by signing a voluntary pledge to reduce energy intensity by 25% over ten years, and many are making products that help others save energy. Technologies, such as energy efficient gas turbines developed by industrial partners with support from the Office of Fossil Energy, are helping reduce #energy costs for U.S. manufacturers, economy-wide.
