Inf. recibida Para los residentes de Isabela!!! Hello. Good news for residents of Isabela! The ASPCA has given PAWS a grant to spay/neuter dogs and cats. These funds are to be used only for animals from the municipality of Isabela. Each owner/rescuer will be asked to contribute what they can to cover the cost ($65/dog, $35/cat) so that the money can help more animals. I (Terri Castellanos) will be in charge of distributing these vouchers. Contact me through email or the PAWS page on Facebook. The HSI (Humane Society International) is still funding spays/neuters for dogs from the municipality of Aguadilla (no cats.) Each owner/rescuer must pay $35 per dog and HSI will cover the remainder. I have attached the spread sheet showing how we used the $1,000 from a private donation and the money we received at the Aguadilla Farmers Market. I tried to use it for cats since we had no funds for them otherwise and also we used it to cover medications and vaccines for some of our abandoned animals. Petco requires that all animals be vaccinated. Our grant monies cannot pay for that. We will always need donations to help pay for vaccines and to treat skin and other health problems of rescues before putting them up for adoption. Cada dueno o rescatista debe pagar parte del costo ($65/perro, $35/gato) para que el dinero rinda mas ayuda para mas animales. Yo me encargo de distribuir los cupones. Trate de usar el dinero para gatos como no habia fondos para ellos y tambien se uso para comprar vacunas y medicamentos para algunos de los animalitos abandonados. Siempre nos hacen falta donativos privados para pagar esos gastos. El dinero de ASPCA y HSI no se puede usar para vacunar y Petco requiere que todo animal puesto en adopcion sea vacunado.
