Infant dies from suspected abuse: KLANG, Sept 14 — A six month-old baby girl has died, believed to be the victim of abuse while at a baby sitter’s house in Jalan Teluk Gadung Kecil, here. Nur Sofea Insyirah Mohd Sharil died at 2.25pm in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit, Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital (HTAR), Klang near here. South Klang police chief ACP Mohamad Mat Yusop told Bernama, Nur Sofea Insyirah was admitted to HTAR on Tuesday after being transferred from Pantai Hospital, Klang. Mohd Sharil Ahmad, 28, rushed Nur Sofea Insyirah to Pantai Hospital, Klang on Monday night after finding his daughter unconscious. He lodged a police report on Tuesday after informed that Nur Sofea Insyirah had a fractured skull, brain haemorrhage and bruises on the forehead and knees.
