Information Services Director (Switzerland): Information Services Director (Chief information Officer) Medair International Headquarters, Switzerland Role and Purpose This is an exceptional opportunity to become part of the leadership team of a highly regarded international humanitarian organisation which brings emergency relief and recovery to people caught in crisis situations in countries such as Afghanistan, D.R. Congo, the Philippines, South Sudan and the Syrian crisis. The purpose of this role will be to develop and implement a successful IS strategy that will support the vision ‘to relieve suffering for the world’s most vulnerable and difficult‐to‐reach people so they have the hope of a better life’. You will be part of the Executive Leadership Team responsible for maximising the effectiveness of Medair’s information systems, within the constraints of a developing world context, and for capturing the information required to make intelligent management decisions, to control the business, developing tools and IS platforms to serve the needs of all stakeholder users in our field programmes, in our international Swiss headquarters and affiliate offices, as well as to provide evidence of programme impact to donor communities and other external stakeholders.
