(Widow – 3 children) had previously held licences in Queensland. At one time Mr Pemberton had the Station Hotel. Eric Norman Harvey bought lease of Station Hotel. 1952 – Shirley Harvey – 18 mths – 1953 – Dulcie Harvey – 18 mths – bought freehold. The plaque out the front – “ The Harvey family – Eric, Gladys, Dulcie – owners and proprietors, welcome you to the Station Hotel, built by Stanley Linton Jennings 1925” - There is a fascinating story about a ghost. It is supposed to visit Room 14 only when it is occupied. People have said that the taps run and other happenings occur……………….. (C. Ing. Lib.)
