Ingredients: Uradh dhaal-2 cups(soak for 45 minutes and then grind to make a very fine paste without adding water...plz take care NOT TO SOAK MORE THAN 45 MINUTES...AND THE MINUTE U GRIND U HAVE TO MAKE JELEBI...if u leave it then u will end up in making UZHUNU VADA) For the sugar syrup: Sugar-2 cups Water-5 tsp spoon Rose essense-1/2 tsp spoon Jelebi color-a pinch Method: Mix sugar and water and keep in slow fire till the sugar gets dissolved and u get 1 string consistency… Once it is done bring down and let to cool... Once cooled add rose essence and jelebi color and keep it ready… Pour the uradh dhaal mix to a sauce squeezer and fry jelebi in oil or gheee and then dip it in sugar syrup...just dip each only 5 minutes not more than that... South Indian jelebi is ready to be served…
