QUOTE OF THE WEEK SAMSARA Due to passion, aggression, ignorance, pride and envy, the pristine awareness that is the essence of mind is clouded. When this awareness is clouded, consciousness becomes the notion of a self, and perceptions--the projections of consciousness--become objectified visions, or form. When there is separation between consciousness and projections, there arises what is called samsara--confusion--that manifests as suffering and continuous struggle. In that continuous struggle, the fear of death and ignorance of birth lead to grasping and fixation, which bring about constant repetition of the struggle.
