Tom says, Be sure to grab your hankie before reading.... To say that my experience at the Miller Vein Clinic was life changing, is an understatement. From the initital contact to the final treatment was made most painless by the Staff and Doctors... I had entered a very painful time in my life when diagnosed with my vain ailment. Trouble on the home front and a bleak outlook personally when I was referred to the Miller Clinic. Talk about a feeling of failure and no hope, MAN!!! I had been misdiagnosed, and it was my dermatoligist, Dr. Thomas Chapel who put me on the right track. A simple you inherited bad veins from someone in your family and a referral card started a new chapter in my life. I had been in two car accidents and gained a lot of weight. My family Doctors and a family member who taught nursing, had given me the wrong information. They had told me it was my weight that had caused my ankle and leg swelling and now discoloration... Very disheartening, but, NOT TRUE!!! From the very moment I entered the examination room with the sinking feeling of middle age, the first member of the Miller Staff I seen told me Honey its not your fault... I honestly thought the nurse was going to cry. She held her hands to her face and sked me how long I ad been suffering, I told her... It was at that moment she grabbed my hand and told me Were gonna fix up up ... Talk about a life changing experience!!! My personal life in the toilet, the light at the end of the tunnel looking like a freight train, and now a new outlook... The light at the end of the tunnel wasnt a freight train baring down on me but a professional with knowledge who was looking for me... Finally, help had arrived, and no, life wasnt over, but about to start anew!!! Absoultely the most pleasant professional people that God could ever inspired to study to help their fellow man were not busy examining me ande all telling me that things were going to be OK, giving me assuance, that I did not have, that Im gonna be better... No God complexes here... Everybody had smiles on their faces, kinda like Santas elves bring much needed gifts to the needy, me... I gotta say, these people make you want to be nice to them, from the beautiful receptionist to the techs and Dr Lou!!! Just the nicest people and the can do attitude of help is on the way... And the display of humor melted any doubts I had away... I proceeded through my proceedures laughing and joking. Simply put, I cant see any self worth of th Miller Clinic personal that was at anytime put over me as a client/patient. I highly reccomend th Miller people to anyone who wants change in their lives. I went to them and am now a walking testimony of change and a new outlook that enables me to face the new day with a smile and a newness Ive never had! Thank you Miller Clinic, and may the Almighty Doctor who heals broken wings guide you as you serve mankind with hope!!!
