Innovative Collaborations to Revitalize Communities Date: October 30, 2013 Time: 10:00am – 4:00pm Location: Ralph Metcalfe Federal Building 77 W Jackson Boulevard Chicago, IL How can organizations from diverse sectors overcome barriers and collaborate to promote a housing market recovery and revitalize communities? The Regional Home Ownership Preservation Initiative (RHOPI) will focus on this challenge at its annual forum, Innovative Collaborations to Revitalize Communities. Innovative Collaborations to Revitalize Communities will feature examples of collaborations among governments, nonprofits, universities, and businesses that help bring communities back from the devastation of the foreclosure crisis. Speakers include Alan Berube of the Brookings Institution (co-author of the recently released Confronting Suburban Poverty in America) and Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan.
