Input from everyone please. I fielded a question from a new fan of our page Sunday regarding the desire to have a Texas music station in Houston, and answered it diplomatically and honestly. Below is the Q&A. Do you agree? Disagree? Do you have something to add? Sunday -- New fan of page: What do u think 93q and kilt r. -- Houston Needs a Texas Country Music Station: 93q and bull100 are not Texas Music! They are stations that play "country pop" music and "country rap" for the most part. Sometimes you will get Strait or other country music, but not often. Texas country for the most part is really not country in the strictest sense of the word but a lot of it is. Nashville is owned by conglomerates Clear Channel and CBS Radio. They tell their stations what to play and what not to. They own the recording industry too. They are all in cahoots. That closes the door on over 99% of the artists in our area, in Texas and surrounding states. A huge amount of talent around here goes unheard (nationally). I want a local owned station that is not biased. One that plays good music regardless of what record company recorded it or whether it was recorded in Nashville. -- and thanks L.W. for the question--
