Took Duke to the Vet this morning. Put him asleep and took x-rays. Hip is fine so there is still something hurting. Gave him a cordosone shot to last about 2 weeks and another shot for pain. Hopefully, now, the muscle or ligament that is hurting will heal and in a few days he will be using all four. He has not been himself all day. The shots really did him in. Coming home he was not himself. When Schwans came about 4:30 Duke wagged his tail but was subdued for him. Usually, he is quite happy wanting attention. Today, he just stood there and wagged his tail. He is outside tonight. Hopefully, the fresh air will do him good and he will come in refreshed and revitalized from the shots. This evening he did roll over to have his tummy rubbed so he is beginning to improve.
