Insert 95 He smiled flashing those white teeth and dimples. He held my hand and looked at me. Him: MaValindlela? Me: Valindlela? Him: i hate fighting! I mean in a few hours, it will be our first years anniversary. Babe to tell the truth my longest relationship before this was 10 months and you managed to keep me for longer that that. I dont think ill ever find anyone that tollerates my ish like you do. I can be stupid and all but, im a guy, its only natural but most girls dont understand me like you do. He rubbed his eyes with his fingers for a second then looked back at me. Him: and you kissing Libanzi really hit home. I may have given up on Thando but never on you! I wont let him do it. Me: baby he wont, i wont let him. Him: thats my girl. Come here. He leaned making our noses touch and our lips slightly rubbing against each other, he then mashed our lips together. I then pulled away. Me: masambhe ndikukhaphe before its late. Him: sure Me: now help me get up. I let out my hand and he just lifted my whole body turning me around and around. I laughed and shouted stop at him. Me: hahaha Lunga hayi! Him: haha i missed hearing you laugh out loud like that! Me: andifunutyeba mna tshi. Him: hee baby by laughing? Me: uAsange uthi umntu ohleka kakhulu uyatyeba! Him: hehake niyaqhathana morce nina xa nihleli nobabini. Me: your calling my twinnie a liar? Him: woah hey your putting words into my mouth! Its the friday our our anniversary and its the sentensing and i have to be there for you. He playfully punched my cheek softly. I smiled. Me: so ke did you tell sis Lungi? Him: i told my mom. Me: oh are your parents back from Namibia? Him: my mom is, shes here to take care of a few things. And besides, who wouldnt miss this cute face? Me: haha eshe! And your dad? Him: we chat through skype every night. I saw a glow in his eyes as he was talking about his father. Me: you miss him dont you? Him: yeah well i do. I miss how things used to be before he got a promotion. We used to be best friends, and i miss how mom and I used to watch movies until the early hours in the morning. But i would ofcourse fall asleep, and she would lay in the couch with me. Babe i miss them both, and Lungiswa misses varsity life, Luthandos getting married in December and his fiance Zinathi is giving birth in June. So ndizohlala ndedwa pha kulandlu inkulu? Its like everyone in my life uyahambha. Atleast not wena. I cracked a smile knowing pretty well that im moving to Jozi too. Me: uzaba right babe. Uhm sooo what did you buy me for the anniversary? Him: hahaha hai tshini! Its a suprise. Wena? Me: nam ke andizokuxelela. Him: ohoo! Uyakopa kanene ndikulibele! I punched him on the shoulder. Me: haike mandijike mna apha boo. We hugged and i then walked home ndafika uAsange and Zuko were sitting on the couch playing a snakes and ladders. Me: hehe akumnandi kuni! Asange: tshomie please explain to Zuko that he has to let me win! Im the girl morce. Zuko: kodwa baby thats unfair. Me: haibo Zuko the girl is always right! Asange: hee khamxelele chommie. Zuko: but we are playing a fair and square game here man! Me: haha what does the winner get? Asange: the winner decides what s/he wants. Me: ooh okay, khanimeni ndiyopheka. Asa: sure friend. I walked to the kitchen and started cooking. As i was pealing the pumnkin my phone rang. It was my dad. Me: hey Doc! Him: hey baby! Unjani? Me: ndiright wena? Him: im good. Im flying there tonight for the sentensing of uSomdaka. Me: Daddy? Him: Baby? Me: do i really have to go? Him: honey umamakho ebesekuxelele ngalento njena, yeah you do. And you will have alot of support, i mean Mandy is also going to be there. Me: oh okay ke. Him: see you then. Love you. Me: love you too. He hung up and i carried on cooking. Later, Zuko wakhapha uAsange wagoduka. Libanzi had been trying to call me a billion times after what had happened earlier that day. But ke i ddnt respond to any of his calls, i had nothing to say to him and i didnt think we were friends anymore. Mybe i should explain that to him. Makazi came in tired as always. The three of us had dinner talking about the big day we had ahed of us the next day. I was nervious and scared all at once, even exited cause that night I had my anniversary date with Lunga. I had bought him a precious gift that i couldnt wait to give him. That night before sleeping. I said a prayer to God asking for strength. For him to keep me and help me endure the challeng that i was about to face the next day I slept peacefully that night and when i woke up that day at 6am, reality started sinking in, i was goung to see that man again! I was going to have to relive that night one last time! I hope. #Buhle
