Installing Maharaja’s statue in Jammu and visiting Mazar-e-Shuhda in Srinagar unfair: Khan =>Terming the dream of the martyrs of 1931, incomplete, senior separatist leader and National Front Chairman, Nayeem Ahmad Khan has said that the pro-India politicians who unveil the statues of Dogra rulers in Jammu have no right to “shed crocodile tears” on the Mazar-e-Shuhada. Referring to a government function in Jammu early this year in which deputy chief minister, Tara Chand and union health minister Ghulam Nabi Azad took part, Khan said, “such type of hyporacy is the identity of those who sell the freedom of their own homeland.” Pertinently, early this year the government unveiled a big statue of late Hari Singh in Jammu and the function was attended by many government representatives. Nayeem Khan said, “The same people will now visit the Mazar-e-Shuhada with flowers and will pay tributes to those who were killed by the hands of the same Hari Singh, this is the height of hypocracy.” Khan added, “The mission of the martyrs of 1931 is yet to be completed because their great sacrifices ended the autocratic rule of Dogras but later Indian army occupied the state of Jammu and Kashmir which continues till date.”
