The end of this anachronism is an indisputable historical achievement for peoples. This delicate situation should at least serve to alert proponents of political power on the need for genuine political and economic reforms to Algeria from an another violent rupture in its history. She instead served as pretext to limit the scope of the freedoms and political action spaces just as it fed an official speech based on safe blackmail to justify the rejection of the transition to a democratic system and to cover big corruption scandals that undermined national development, tainted the integrity of the Algerians and tarnished the image of the Algerians on the international scene.
