Instead of dong the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, I am challenging all of the BHS Eagles who graduated between 1980 and 1989 to sing our Eagle’s fight song “Loyal and True” and donate to the Loren Dils Caregiver Services Support Campaign. Loren and his brother Alan graduated from Belen in 1984 and in 2008 Loren was diagnosed with ALS. If you post a video of yourself singing (solo and without auto-tune) “Loyal and True” by 11:59 p.m., Tuesday, August 26, 2014, I will add an additional $10 to the second contribution to the LDCSS Campaign I make on September 1.
