Instead of taking everybody down in his new book, My Watch, Obasanjo should have dwelt much on seeking forgiveness from Nigerians for his most horrible disservice and the gift of Goodluck Jonathan for mainly his selfish interest. Its shameful for a former President to write a book without details of achievements across sectors. Shameful enough, Obasanjo did not nothing about socio-economic conditions of Nigerians; entrenched in their psyches that free and fair election was impossible not even by Jesus Christ; had once given 1.4% of the budget to education; stolen over 16billion USD meant for power sector; hardly completed any major road not even ones that passed through his Yorubaland backyard; incompetently allowed Bakassi to be ceded to Cameroon; gave Adedibu license to terrorise Oyo state and ultimately prepared the grounds for an intractable disaster -Boko Haram by 1. failure to improve socio-economic environment which provides easy recruits for killers and 2. foisting on the nation a misfit GEJ under whose command BH has been allowed and rightly so, supported to kill Nigerians. The only boost for Obasanjo is that he is in a country where we forget peoples atrocities because they pretend to our friends later.
