Instructor, and my 72 - 74 Varsity Basketball Coach: Diamond Jim Davis. He had a BA in English and Masters Degree in Education from ASU. He was very organized. Very focused. He prepared his practices on 3 x 5 index cards, printed in red ink, in ALL CAPS. There were never any mistakes written. Nothing crossed out, or written again. His hair was meticulously groomed. He dressed like a pro for each game; home or away. He was a good Coach, and I enjoyed all three years playing on his teams. He passed away on July 25th, 2006 at home at the age of 65. Thanks Coach.
