Instructors... Instructors guide a students training. - TopicsExpress

Instructors... Instructors guide a students training. Instructors teach the system - the shapes, the movements, the drills which help develop the skills (hey, that rhymes). Instructors offer students the pieces of the puzzle and help them put it all together. Instructors help to connect the dots between the training, the drills, and the applications. A good instructor inspires a student - to do more, to do better, to get this one punch correct. A good instructor balances discipline with rapport. A good instructor usually makes sense, too. Instructors do not make a student a master, though. As MasterCameron, founder of Wing Chun International, emphasizes in his master classes: YOU are the master of your own Wing Chun. Every student is the deciding factor behind what grade or degree s/he achieves. Any student can become an instructor. Any student can become a master. Any student can be kung fu fighting if and when THAT student puts in the hours. Only YOU decide whether or not you can actually use the system, by choosing how much time you put into your own training. Even when we do achieve that grade/degree weve targeted for so long - we do not stop being students. We keep training, keep improving, keep developing. Only you can push yourself to greater heights. Instructors facilitate you on that journey. And we are happy to do so :)
