Insurance Manager Retrospect Recruitment – Durban, KwaZulu-Natal A well-known role player in the Insurance industry (Financial Services) is looking for a suitably qualified candidate to take on the role as Insurance Manager for the KZN Region. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: *Matric *Full NQF 5 qualification recognised by the Financial Services Board. (RE1 and RE5) *At least 3-5 years experience within the insurance industry *At least 2 years managerial experience (which includes the management of subordinates) *Experience in sales, administration and in compliance *Knowledge of Long-term and/or Short-Term Insurance *Practical knowledge of applicable legislation *Computer Literacy - Excel & Word is essential *Drivers License *Willingness to travel DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO: *Responsible for managing all aspects of the insurance products offered and distributed in the region; including client advice, marketing actions, Key Individual functions and all administration functions. *Manage and perform the quality control on new business, and all administrative processes. *Manage policy conservation and retention. *Maintain registers of all compliance related risk in the business. *Compile relevant management reports. *Provide compliance and product training to administrative employees and representatives. *Manage product administration of all insurance products offered. *Manage key stakeholder relations. *Manage team performance.
