Integrity in the election process is lacking so badly, it starts at the lowest level and goes all the way up to the top. Tonight I was at a candidate forum where they invited a Libertarian candidate, confirmed the candidate on their website and then mysteriously excluded his name from the straw poll ballot. This happens a lot. Exclusion from polls, forums and media are exactly how the voters impression of a candidates viability is diminished. It starts locally, even in small forums, continues with polls and press exclusion, and by the time we get to the elections, no one will vote for the candidate who is perceived as not viable - even though the only tests of their viability were the things they were excluded from. Its insane. We have to build voter awareness of how the game is rigged and where it begins.
