Intellectual comprehension has its place, but commonly today, few comprehend that there is anything other than intellectual understanding in play. Even those who typically operate principally from the instinctual or emotional centres, will flail about in the words and rationalisations of the intellect, when it comes to what they imagine to be intellectual or spiritual matters. We typically read books or watch YouTube videos, agree or disagree with them according to our current biases and processing via our dominant centre, and think we now are whatever it is that made us feel important, emotionally sated or intelligent, again depending on which is our dominant centre through which we deal with the world. I tend towards over-valuing intellectual processing myself, and there are higher and lower degrees of intellect among that type, but someone who predominately processes their experiential reality via the instinctual centre is interested primarily in pack positioning and satisfaction of desires, so when they are exposed to the same material they dont actually comprehend it on the intellectual level, so much as relate to how empowered, justified or fulfilled it makes them feel. A person that was to process the same information or experience principally through the emotional centre, could really ride a rollercoaster of feelings and ultimately can create a complex inter-relationship with materials and ideas, based mainly on how the emotional buttons they already have established were pushed, how hard and in what order. https://youtube/watch?v=NYF-kCxHrWg
