Intense. On my way home from the western slope area this weekend, I took I-70 through Grand Junction instead of the backroads I often take......Id seen these very uniquely shaped hills along the highway going through this corridor on past travels, but this particular evening the sun was barely peaking through the clouds and making an odd yellow gold glow just before it fell below the horizon.... I was at a 90 degree angle to the sunset and threw my polarizer on....which made the blue sky very dark and the clouds contrast against blue...... though this looks like it was shot in the middle of the night with a long exposure it was light outside... I finished my final post in CS6. I adjusted the contrast and blues.....the original was incredibly warm....I thought it looked better with less gold. ISO 100 1/125 @ f11.
