Intentions. The intention is what matters. A letter, speaking - TopicsExpress

Intentions. The intention is what matters. A letter, speaking of personal pain of family and closed ones, used and devised to bring someone to the public eye will be looked down. Because, its disgusting to use pain (of yourself and your family), solely for gain. Because, it trivialises the issue and it trivialises the pain of 1000 others who are going through similar kind of tragedy. Disgusting because, once sharing ends, the letter gets regressive. Addressed to whom? Asking for what? What are the words used? How are the women portrayed? Of course, it is entirely my opinion. People will get carried away anyway. People will judge those to beg to differ as insensitive pricks. Be it known, just because she & you chose to speak of it in the open, does not give you the right to assume that the rest havent lived a similar horror. Merely because one chose to be disgusted by a Letter, the motives of which are questionable, does not mean they havent lived the tragedy. We shouldnt be judging anyone for reacting so strongly or for their anger. BUT, would it be too much to ask them also not judge those who disagree. PS: Tomorrow is Sunday. If you feel like picking a fight or just debate, spare me today. Lets meet tomorrow.
