Interested in a career in Sustainability, Climate Mitigation or Environmental Education? Western State Colorado University (WSCU) and Peace Corps are pleased to announce the official launch of their new Masters International program. The Master in Environmental Management Program (MEM) program offers two tracks: Integrated Land Management or Sustainable and Resilient Communities. For highly competitive applicants, WSCU offers two fellowships for current and returned Volunteers. Students can complete the MEM program during their 27-month service, or complete a year of residential learning prior to the start of service. As a final project, students submit a portfolio including their best community-based projects from their Peace Corps service rather than a traditional thesis. WSCU has extended the application deadline for new MI students until Jan. 1, 2015. Learn more about this exciting program at an information meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 9 at 12:30 p.m. MST Kelley Hall, room 116 on the WSCU campus. If youre unable to attend, email [email protected] and [email protected] for more information. (Photos: Western State Colorado University, Master in Environmental Management Program)
