Interested in music education for the next generation? The WQXR - TopicsExpress

Interested in music education for the next generation? The WQXR Instrument Drive offers you a chance to participate directly in music education when you donate a gently-used instrument. You have through Monday to bring the unused instrument in your house to one of our 14 drop-off locations in the Tri-State area. Well get it into the hands of a student in New York City. That instrument of yours could, quite literally, change a life. All the details are on our website. Thanks for passing your instrument on to someone else! This morning, WQXR sends your way Schubert waltzes on the piano, Mendelssohns Ruy Blas, a Mozart horn concerto, Rossinis Semiramide overture, Beethovens Leonore No. 1, Webers Invitation to the Dance, a tango from Ernesto Nazareth, the Brahms Academic Festival Overture, and of course, your morning Bach. WQXR music is on right now at 105.9 FM, WQXR.org, and your phone, too, with our free app. And youll help make even more music when you donate your instrument this weekend to the WQXR Instrument Drive. Thanks, and have a great weekend!!
