Interesting. There seems 2 be two trains of thought regarding Caps physical prowess. If ure in column A, u believe the super soldier serum imbued Steve w/ superstrength, limitless endurance, and way beyond nimble reflexes. If ure in column B (which I am) u feel Steve is only as strong as he would be if he had been able 2 train as skinny Steve, and that the serum only got him where he would be, just artificially. In my years of reading Cap, maybe Ive seen him break a chain ONCE. Now Im sure that someone will pull some arbitrary factoid that proves there position is valid but I just hope its not Cosmic Cube related, b/c Caps strength was bumped up 4 that arc. Other than that, dif writers, write him differently, I suppose. Im not saying this as a mark 4 Batman, b/c my 2nd fave hero is Cap, but b/c despite that....I believe the majority of writers that write Cap, write him more as Ive suggested, as opposed 2 ppl who basically have a bias against Batmam.
