Interesting flight home: sat next to an old music promoter with dyed hair and a set of veneers several decades younger than he was, he told me all about his homes in the UK, Monaco and Thailand, and how friendly the women in Bangkok are. He asked me what I would hypnotise him for and I answered Id hypnotise you to remove your hand from my knee actually. The rest of the flight passed in a rather uncomfortable silence, apart from my Mum, whom oblivious to the whole exchange, chatted away to him about how expensive everything in the world was and then launched into a series of very pointed comments and questions about tax avoidance and people who have second homes in Monte Carlo, at which point I started to wish BA did in-flight ether.
