Interesting gig last night, great party (it was a wedding reception) very mixed set. All was going great but it was very hot and muggy despite the doors and windows being open (no aircon). Software controller decides to overheat and crash midway through a song. Im an old skool dj and was in two minds whether to go the whole hog and convert to a laptop, but this made my mind up!! Luckily said controller is only a secondary so when it crashed I switched straight to cds (5 seconds delay at most) and carried on. My cds are heavy as is the player/mixer but its never crashed on me yet.....Just saying
