Interesting information. This is a subject that comes up daily in the industry I have the honor of working in. However, in my opinion such studies do not and can not truly define the best of High Schools in Massachusetts or anywhere. Schools graduate Students at the genius level and some may not graduate at all but there are so many different variables that should truly determine the best schools.. It should not begin and end with standardized testing or demographics... Not all students are destined to belong to Mensa but are they being challenged to perform up to the THEIR potential? Are programs available to those who may not be moving toward a post high school education? If not, do those who advise the Students know the resources available to help them explore those possibilities. What is the Involvement of The students in their own success, the teachers, THE PARENTS, the community And there is SO MUCH MORE that truly define what make the best schools...
