Interesting letter to MCM from a concerned Canadian: My name is ***** and I read an article in the Ottawa Sun this weekend that you wrote. BRAVO every religion has their fanatics and unfortunately all of the innocent Muslim’s are paying for it. I was raised to look at the heart of a person and not their color or religion. I’m Christian and my daughters three best friends are Muslims and I love them as if they were my own. After 911 some ignorant kids from their school went after them in the school yard and I set them straight. Muslim’s are peaceful loving people, and just because of a few fanatics you judge all of them, well you’re wrong. And I will continue to keep defending you. Every religion has their nuts and this is how I explain it to people and those kids: When you buy a bushel of apples and 1 is rotten, do you throw out the whole barrel, or do you throw out that bad apple. And then they realize that it’s not right to judge all Muslims because of a few (persons,) I hope this has helped and that not all Christian’s are Muslim hating. God Bless.
