Interesting little fact for you Iowa fans out there. I cant take credit for it , I read it in an article. Unless Iowa goes 11-1 this year (lookin pretty possible huh ;) ) This will mark the worst 5 year stretch in the Kirk Ferentz era since his first 5 years (they started 1-10 and 3-9) We were very consistent for years , but have been in a downward spiral for the last 3-4 years. Anyone who has watched the first 3 games this year that disagrees please correct me and try to raise my spirits. But Im afraid we are going in the wrong direction. I do want to give a little credit to Phil Parker for the defense this year. If it werent for them we would be 0-3 and it would be ugly. Replacing 3 LB that he put into the NFL in the same year has been a challenge and they have met that challenge head on.
