Interjections By A 5-Year Old. Yesterday I was drafted to the Teens Church by the Hospitality Unit where I serve in my local church. One of the sessions involved a 15-minute exposition called the Charge. The topic was Academic Excellence. The short brief was done by a boy of about 16 years old. A 2-year old boy cannot solve Algebra, he said during the exposition. At that point, he was interjected by tiny voice which I traced to a little girl who should be about 5 years or so : With God all things are possible! The preacher continued, Can you imagine a 2-year old boy doing division of labour in secondary school? The little girl went again, Can you imagine a 7-year old as the king of Israel? As one interested in thought leadership I was thoroughly awed by the responses of the little girl and some others too. Such thoughts stir conversations that are wholesome. Wholesome conversations create wholesome individuals - wholesome leaders. Wholesome leaders in turn create productive societies. I felt so good being in the midst of those teens.
