Internet/my device has been spotty and so has my stomach, thus the lack of updates. So- Thursday: day at the build of course. It was quite warm and sunny and we tired quickly ( and several sun burns were had!) in the evening we visited a local cemetery which was fascinating. Each family has a mausoleum and the well off families have big impressive ones. The cemetery was on a hill and the view was incredible. We had dinner at a little cafe which sold candles to benefit an organization which helped women who had been abused. They also sold items from local artisans and Lenca artifacts. ( the Lenca being one of the local indigenous groups). Yummy deserts were had by all!
